Do you love film? The question seems pretty vague and general doesn’t it. While not everyone goes out and watches hours of the most obscure or influential films every night, even the most disconnected individual certainly has a film or two that they can claim to gain some sort of pleasure from. The i♥film blog is about embracing the unique and exciting experiences that everyone gets from watching films The AGH so graciously brings to the screens of Hamilton.
I am by no means an expert on the art of filmography but I can say truthfully to you all that I love film! I love its ability to capture our most unique and inspirational experiences and recreate them in a way that engages our most intimate perceptive senses of sight and sound. With the ability to a bring a room of complete strangers to collectively shared bout of tears, laughter, or a handful of other exciting emotions, film can permeate the hearts and minds of its audience like no other medium. I love film and I think, whether you know it or not, you do too!
So come out, watch the films and talk to the guy with the welcoming smile (OK I might not be smiling all the time; I mean I think it is physically impossible), and add to the discussion of the films that AGH will be putting on. I will be happy to hear what you have to say about the film and pretty stoked about making a new friend:). If you can’t make it out to the actual films don’t fret (although I would invest in a better scheduler), but check out the blog and post replies and add to the discussion so we can give back and reflect upon the love these films so generously bring forth.
